The foundation primarily supports the work of religious agencies, churches, and schools in ministry, outreach, and education. Its secondary focus includes social outreach, the arts, public policy, and health care. The foundation focuses its funding in the areas of western Michigan and central Florida.

A program to identify and train emerging ministry leaders in local urban communities. Each year cities are selected to participate in this 15 month program which features a hands-on, dynamic learning experience for participants. Eight to twelve emerging leaders from each city are invited to participate.
